In the event you, like me, are within the Macro images subject, then make you an enormous favor and do not waste your money with this book. I've dozens of images books but this one is the worst of them all. It shows a bunch of images of a couple giving a course to students, exhibits very bad flash methods and would not even point out probably the most used flash methods for macro pictures like Flash Rings, SpeedLite, SpeedLight, Twin Lite, etc. just a bunch of flash diffusers. The macro images are pathetic and lots of of them are "actually" out of focus with a legend that says that you may make them to recommend a subject... what was that? I really remorse to have spent my money on this crap. Really a nasty bad book.
I read this e book from cowl to cowl the night it arrived. The images you may find inside is inspirational, and bought me feeling a little bit intimidated, as a result of obviously I needed to get related images. Thankfully the authors give a number of instruction for how one can obtain related results. Not only does the guide cover utilizing off camera flash for macro photos, but they evaluation a lot of the basics which can be so vital to getting clever photographs from your camera. I really like the watercolor like images that they've as examples, it's one other way to look at pictures different than simply point, frame a topic and shoot. Spoiler Alert: go to page 42 to study how one can FLIP your lens to make use of it backwards. It is amazing. I tried it with simply holding the lens and had a lot fun with my "new" lens. I'm going to go purchase a reversing ring tomorrow!
Rod and Robin are wonderful instructors and their books are nearly simply pretty much as good as being in a workshop of theirs. They lower to the chase and provide you with actual data in pleasant, fun, and clear language. This book is no exception! Plenty of wonderful photographs, and all SOOC! No PhotoShopping to make up for lack of skill. They're the true-deal, true photographers and artists. If you wish to enhance your craft test this and any of their different books out.
