I LOVE Gary P.'s unique book on this sequence, "Garden Boy". It's a great learn, especially for fifth and sixth grade boys. Nonetheless, "Lawn Boy Returns" has NONE of the good humor and situations that made the primary guide so engaging. This sequel has little or no dialogue, which makes the textual content dense and boring, particularly for kids. The colourful characters from the first e book don't grow or change in this book, and we're also launched to L.B.'s two buddies and four new staff, none of whom add something to the story whatsoever. There is additionally the introduction of a new character, Zed, who's crass and crude and says issues that young readers should not be reading. Moreover, the author thinks it is humorous to describe Zed getting drunk and stealing (neither of which is humorous for this age group). Go read "Lawn Boy" but DO NOT waste your time with this unimaginative observe-up.
Good schooling for littler children. That's what I think. Straightforward to read. Actually good social studies learning. I enjoy it.
